Guava
Taiwan's guavas are cultivated in fertile soils rich in organic matter as well as excellent water drainage. These lands produce excellent quality guavas that appear firm, ripe, and are most nutritious, with a unique and tasteful flavor of sweet and refreshing, making it one of the more popularly exported fruits from Taiwan.
In order to improve the quality of guava for export, the Taiwan government has established state-of-the-art orchards, a safety management system, and standardized operating procedures to ensure that all exported guavas are safely bagged, and pesticide residue tested.
